What’s New

This is a maintenance release and does not contain new features. As such it actually should have been versioned 13.7.1 as Voyantic follows semver.org. However, we also move forward and realized the error after the release so it stays 13.8.

  • Improvements
    • known chip manufacturers and chips list has been updated to the latest known by Voyantic
    • the unknown TIDs are obfuscated using SHA256 before sending to Voyantic (when optional telemetry is activated) to ensure the confidentiality of the non-released ICs
  • Bug fixes
    • Select + Inventory (Query + Ack) and Select + Read sequences now work; since version 13.3 there was an issue with these commands if select functionality was used at the same time
    • Inventory (Query + Ack) sequence no longer requires tag IC to respond to the “request random number” command
    • Legend on the Threshold Sweep measurement was too low and is fixed now
    • Issues with modals and popups in fairly large resolution (>= 4k) and multi-monitor setups are fixed
