What is new

Improved testing accuracy

The testing accuracy is improved by reducing the unit-to-unit variance compared to predecessor.

• Snoop Pro 1.0 +/- 1.0 dB typical
• Snoop Pro 2.0 +/- 0.5 dB typical

More compact footprint

More compact footprint dimensions require less space for installation. The mounting hole locations and the shielding plate pole locations remain the same.

Easier shielding plate change

The shielding plates are easier to change as the magnets holding the plate are replaced with less powerful ones.

Integrated strobe light

Illuminates the tag from below so that the tag antenna can, in most cases, be seen for accurate test start location setting.

• Flashes a red light for failed tags
• On/Off switches for Strobe and Fail indicator.

The strobe functionality requires the Station IO cable version 1.2 that limits the compatible lane controller versions: lane controller versions 1.1 and 2.0 support the strobe functionality.

Snoop Pro 2.0 can be used without the strobe functionality to measure only RF performance.

Use of the strobe light is recommended only during production setup and triggering position verification, as certain RFID ICs may exhibit sensitivity to high-intensity light.

Backward Compatible

Snoop Pro 2.0 is drop-in compatible in RF performance with the Snoop Pro 1.0, and the same recipes can be used. Snoop Pro 2.0 can be installed to the same space as Snoop Pro 1.0, and the shielding plates are fully compatible.
