Financial Specialist

It is hard to come up with a title that would sum up your important role. The previous person holding this role (used the title of Office Manager, but that would not be accurate anymore) started working for us already in 2009. Now it is time for new adventure and this is where you come in the picture. We at Voyantic are a group of 17 and growing as the RFID market is booming with us in the front-line. The perks of a relatively small company is a role with many layers. In this case, management accounting is combined with participation in business development and strategic decision making.

By understanding and anticipating business requirements you ensure the development of our processes from a business controlling perspective and you will be able to take part in planning, forecasting and analysing our cost structures. Your knowledge in management accounting enables you to determine the KPIs and other indicators and your analytical skills allow you to develop our reporting systems as a whole.

Your area consists of three blocks:

  • Financial Accounting: Finance routines (e.g. being in contact with out-sourced accounting, cash-flow management, accounts receivable), executing and developing of year-end processes in cooperation with our accounting company

  • Management Accounting / Controlling e.g. budgeting and reporting development, profitability calculation (evaluation and development), identifying financial indicators to follow

  • Human Resource Development (HRD) e.g. participating in recruiting processes, planning of incentive bonuses, occupational health, operating as the company’s HR contact point

As our company keeps growing, we have several ongoing projects that you will also play a part in. To succeed in this role, you have:

  • Experience in financial and management accounting
  • Fluent verbal and written skills in Finnish and English
  • Proven analytical skills and ability to juggle several priorities and projects
  • Ability to tackle also routine tasks
  • Hands on attitude, good communication, and team working capabilities
  • Knowledge in KPI reporting
  • Know-how in reconciliations and maintenance of reporting and analytics tools
